e Metzger team was delighted to share an evening of fine wine and good company with over sixty guests at the Union Street Café in London.
The main hosts were Metzger Directors, James Metzger, James Flew, Lorraine Thomas and Karen Calver, supported by the Metzger team. Together they spent the evening with a range of corporate guests from various industries that enjoy a professional relationship with the company.
The evening proved to be a pleasant reprieve for many attendees who abstained from tippling in ‘Dry January’. The evening’s varied wine offerings kicked off with sparkling Mas de Daumas Gassoc Rosé Frizzant. It continued with a tasting adventure in Old World versus New World wines, skilfully presented by Waud Wines throughout the evening.
There was even a prize for the guests who provided the best wine tasting notes and the winners were given a magnum of bubbly for their efforts.
